Welcome to the Harrison Smith Park Pool, located in Upper Sandusky! Our pool provides a safe and enjoyable environment for residents and visitors of all ages to swim, cool off, and participate in summer activities. Whether you are here for lap swimming, family fun, swim lessons, or special events, our facility offers something for everyone. Season Tickets
Season passes are available for purchase at the Water Office in the City Building.
Prices for 2025 Season Passes:

Additional family members may be added to Family Season Tickets for $20.00 each (City or Non-City Resident).
There will be no changes to pool passes once they are purchased.
Daily Admission
- Daily Pass (all ages): $5.00
- Twilight Pass (last 3 hours of the day): $3.00
- Children age 3 and under: Admitted free during regular hours
Harrison Smith Park Pool Rules and Regulations
- Obey all lifeguards and pool staff.
- Use of profanity is prohibited.
- No tobacco products inside the pool and bathhouse area.
- No gum in the pool area. Food and drinks permitted at pool staff discretion.
- Appropriate swimwear required (bathing suits, basketball shorts, etc.).
- No running or dunking.
- No diving from the sides except in deep area.
- All swimmers must shower before entering the pool.
- Nerf balls and inflatable toys allowed only with permission. No squirt guns.
- Children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult supervisor.
- Adult swim periods reserved for ages 18+ or recent high school graduates.
- Swimmers under 18 must leave water during hourly 10-minute rest periods.
- Children only allowed during rest periods if supervised or in instruction.
- Long hair must be secured.
- Rain checks/refunds for daily admissions if closure occurs within 2 hours of arrival.
Diving Board Rules
- No diving to the side; dive off the end only.
- Wait until diving area is clear.
- One bounce allowed per dive.
- Exit water immediately after diving.
Disciplinary Actions
- 1st Offense: Time-out as determined by pool staff.
- 2nd Offense: Removal for the day at Manager’s discretion; parents may be contacted.
- 3rd Offense: Possible season suspension.
Opening and Closing Policy
- Pool opens only if air temperature is approx. 70°F or above (Pool Manager discretion).
- Patrons must exit pool immediately upon thunder or lightning; shower areas remain open.
- Pool reopens 20 minutes after last lightning/thunder.
- Weather closure signs posted and updated.
- Early closures for home swim team meets (dates TBD).
